Ten Tips to a Healthier, Happier You!!

a.k.a. “If you came with an Owner’s Manual”

  1. Get enough sleep
    To function at optimum, research shows we need no less than 8 hours a night.
  2. Begin each day in Reflection
    Write in a “grateful journal” your thoughts for the day; focus on the good in your life.
  3. Drink at least eight 8 oz. glasses of water a day
    It has often been said that ‘water is life!”
  4. Supplement your meals with vitamins
    Due to the pesticides and the food processing; we need to supplement our daily intake.
  5. Breathe…
    Yes, breathe…whenever stressed or rushed, stop and take slow deep breaths and
    consciously relax your muscles.
  6. Don’t take on more than you can chew!
    It’s okay to say “no”. Be realistic about what you can accomplish. You’ll be less likely to overload if you just say “no” once in awhile.
  7. Make an appointment with yourself!
    That’s right; mark out some time in your day timer for you. Take this precious
    time and do whatever you enjoy… perhaps it is reading a book, antiquing, listening to music, going to the museum, or just putting your feet up and taking a nap! You deserve it!
  8. Schedule an adjustment and a massage.
    Preventative care keeps your spine in alignment, your muscles flexible and the
    blood supply flowing…

  9. Exercise at least 4 times a week; it only takes 20 minutes.
